Turns out they don't like too much mayhem on the plane, Tara and I were put on "alcohol watch" before the end of the first movie.
"I'm sorry, but we can only serve you one drink per hour from now on."
"What the ....!"
Bastards!
We got them back by drinking as many beers as we could fit in during our transfer at Hong Kong, but we were out like the dead mid way through our first G&T on the plane.
Which was the plan all along.
No really.

Ewi, Tara's brother, fetched us at Ealing Broadway station and we spent the day yesterday with him, Mum - Tara's, not mine - and Bradley at the Tower of London and then a pub.
And then another pub.
Tara and the rest of the Sutherland clan left for Paris this morning, and I am catching up with long lost friends while they are gone.
Pictures added.

Good to hear things are under way, and you've made it to England, to enjoy all its...er...charms.
Waiting around sucks...so good to actually be on the road and moving.
Make the most of the curly fries...
Curly fries is definately on the menu tonight.
I am actually suprised they served you any alcohol at all! ;-)
